The Thabazimbi Bushveld is a well known Hunting Mecca with a high concentration of hunting farms in the area and ample hunting opportunities to be enjoyed by both local and international hunters. Species that are hunted include various antelope, carnivores and as well as game birds. Thabazimbi offers bow, rifle and handgun hunting and takes place throughout the year, but due to the summer heat and rains, the most popular period is in the cooler winter months from end-April to August. Besides the thrill of the hunt, hunters enjoy the remote and unspoilt areas in which the game farms are located.
